1955 Olds Ambassador F trigger trombone READ LISTING

Description

This trombone was built in 1955 in Fullerton California. The right hand slide and the tuning slides all move very freely. The F trigger is functional. The only issue is a tiny crack in the small piece of tubing that connects the F trigger chamber to where the slide connects (see pics). This would be a fine trombone if you could replace that one section. I don’t do any welding, so I covered that section in electrical tape so that I could play test the instrument. I usually don’t play trombone, but much to my neighbors dismay, it worked and I was able to play the old Star Wars theme that I learned in 5th grade in both Bb and pressing the trigger to transpose to F. This would make a good beater F trigger trombone as is, or a great candidate for restoration.
