  • Condition: Please note that this huge Australian South Sea pearl has NOT been drilled, and it has some bumps and "beauty marks", showing it's genuine and unique, as shown in the many photos. Please note that it has been filled with some substance (resin maybe?) where there probably was a blemish. This was done before I bought the pearl. This pearl reminds me of the shape of a whale.

    Description

    This is a beautiful huge
    UN-DRILLED
    Australian South Sea pearl with a creamy white tone skin and a some surface imperfections (bumpy uneven surface), as shown, which indicate the pearl is genuine.  It's difficult to find such a large Australian South Sea pearl, and this one has beautiful luster with some rainbow orient in certain lighting conditions.  It looks like it had a blemish or come kind of fairly large flaw, because someone has filled part of the pearl with some kind of resin or other filler, which has an ivory color, which is clearly shown in the photos.  The size of this pearl is quite dramatic!
    This is another pearl from my treasured stash of favorite pearls that I've saved for several years.  Because I know I can't keep every pearl that I love, I'm making them available now to creative artisans and jewelry designers, so they can be enjoyed and treasured.
    Even with its imperfections, this is a very striking pearl!

    This pearl has been drilled all the way through the center, ready for your creative use.  Please note that most natural color real cultured pearls look different in different lighting conditions, although I try to present the most accurate photos.  These photos were taken in natural daylight.
