Promotional items from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. All of these were promotional items distributed with the release of the associated records unless otherwise noted.
Blondie's debut album was on Private Stock Records in 1977. Later that year they were signed by the major international label Chrysalis Records. Late in 1977, as they prepared to release "Parallel Lines" in early 1978 Chrysalis noticed that some in the music press wondered if Blondie was a solo act with a backing band. Chrysalis came up with this phrase and put it out in the press, on t-shirts, this pin back, etc. before the release of "Parallel Lines". And that's the real story.
Note: Instead of a period under the exclamation point is the number 78, as in 1978. That was the year "Parallel Lines" was released.
There are no legal lines on the edges.
This is a one-owner that the Seller got new from Chrysalis Records in 1977. It has been in storage for 45 years.
