Sundazed EDP: 2019. Newer Byredo composed of citrus topnotes, sambac jasmine and neroli, in quality musk. And a cotton candy note! That is a sweet blast of cotton candy! But then the citrus comes in and mellows with the flowers. The neroli and jasmine are outstanding.
Mojave Ghost EDP 2014: Perhaps this (and Gypsy Water) are Byredo's most famous perfumes. The Mojave Ghost flower grows in the most arid deserts and the concept here is dry, ethereal, haunting. Ambrette, Magnolia, Sapodilla fruit, violet, sandalwood, cedarwood and ambergris.
Gypsy Water EDP: 2008. Juniper berries, a little citrus, gorgeous sandalwood, pine needles, and amber. After the hit of lime, it quickly settles to a creamy, musky drydown. Interesting and versatile.
Bibliotheque EDP: 2017. Bibliotheque was Byredo's best selling candle and room spray, so they created this so people could actually wear it. Interesting leather scent, added with plum, patchouli, vanilla, peony and violet. The concept was a leather bound book and it is a good rendition of that!
Bal d'Afrique EDP: 2009. Inspired by the avant-garde of Paris in the 1920's fused with African culture, this one is a handsome merging of the two. Violet, African marigold, jasmine, black amber, cedarwood. Warm woods and a heady jasmine make this quite intoxicating.
