Vintage Promotional Advertisement and Program c. 1940's featuring
Singing Actress KAY POWELL.
8-1/2 x 11" advertising leaflet has a high quality photograph depicting Powell in gypsy like garb with numerous bracelets and necklaces, possibly looking like she is from the middle-east possibly for a role she played and an information biography under the photo. The photo is very unique and mysterious.
The leaflet states that her manager is Harold R. Peat, 2 West 45th Street, New York, NY
On the left side some information about "the lecture course of the Teacher's Educational Society in Bethlehem, PA
Advertising leaflet is in good condition, factory folded hotizonatlly, this was probably a mailer. Some light edge and corner wear. A wrinkle in the upper left corner where there are two creases.
Also, a Program from one of Kay Powell's performances is included from April 19, 1938 at Liberty High School auditorium. The program is 8-1/2" x 11" and lists all of the songs that the Mezzo Soprano singing actress sang. One of the titled is crossed off and a substitute title written in neatly in pencil. Folded in quarters horizontally.
