Original...circa 1900 thru 1940s...Police Dept....Black Leather ...Uniform Belt "Billy Club" Holder.
Heavy cowhide leather is still stiff and pliable.
Made by "Western Leather Mfg. Co.," San Francisco, Cal. on contract with the San Francisco Police Dept. for many years.
Approx. 6 inches long...with a 1-3/4 to 2 inch belt slide...club hole is approx. 1-1/8" by 1-1/4"...fitting standard long PD baton of era.
Excellent minty...un-used condition...NOS. ..Leather is strong as is stitching.
Can still be used for carrying your club as a "Keystone Cop" impression...!!...
Use for early US "Copper" Police club ...or... a British "Bobbie" Dickens Faire impression...!!!
