About
My husband and I sold our business of 30 years, and embarked on a journey to restore a local historic landmark, in Northern Michigan. I had plans to continue to sell for my estate clients during the winter months, in an effort to supplement our income.
Reality has bonked me in the head, and there will likely be no time to continue with my estate sale services. This bittersweet reality has me looking ahead on liquidating my shop and getting my inventory into the hands of searching buyers like yourself.
I will eventually be adding pieces from my own personal collection, as we move towards downsizing, and selling our homestead, in exchange for a small retirement cabin. Contrary to my belief, I will not be able to take everything with me...blah, blah, blah.
I appreciate you taking the time to look thru my store, and consider a purchase. My sales are now our only income, as we continue our labor of love, to restore a beautiful old "Log Lady", and bring her back to her 1950's glory.

All of the items offered up for auction, buy it now, or make offer, are from estate clients, auctions or inventory being liquidated from my shop.
Please consider all items as old, used, dirty, and likely in need of some loving. I believe there is someone out there looking for everything, so have always made it a habit of saving all things from going in the dumpster...because we all know that's where the good stuff typically ends up. Im not proud, I've jumped in to save a few shiny objects.
Being far from an expert of everything, my listings will include what I think I know, and leave it up to the buyer to ask questions before purchasing. If you have a tidbit of information to share, I am the happiest to learn from anything offered up, and adjust my listing to reflect my newly found knowledge. My photos are part of the description, but I will note any damage or details that may not be clear. It is the buyers responsibility to ask questions before purchasing, period.
Shipping
The package weights and measures are used when creating a listing. There will be no additional cost for my time, or materials used. I take pride in my track record for buyers receiving their purchases as described, and without damage. Being a retired editor, I had a client who was a shipping company, and I edited many videos of the journey of a package from point A to point B...it is not a first class ride.
With this said, after a package leaves my shop, i have no control of how it is handled. If you receive a damaged item, make a claim with the delivery company as soon as you receive it. This is your responsibility, however, if an item is clearly damaged due to my inadequate packaging, please reach out before making a claim - I will require photos, and we will communicate towards a remedy.
Returns
I do not offer returns for any items sold. There may be odd cases, but communication must be the key, before a purchase is made. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ask questions, and be sure they are comfortable with all details of the item before purchasing. If I have made an honest mistake in the listing, please reach out before making a claim, so we come to an agreement on how to remedy.
