Vintage Getzen "The Dude" Trombone

Description

This listing is for a rare, vintage Getzen "The Dude" 1950's trombone. This horn is in excellent shape and ready to be played. Both the main playing slide and the tuning slide at the back move freely and easily. All solder joints, threads, and fittings are solid and in good working order.  It is free from any major dings, bends, creases, or crushing at the slide end. There are some scratches and other signs of finish wear normal for a horn of this age. The locking screw for the main playing slide is missing, and I haven't been able to find a replacement that I'm happy with. I will of course include a normal screw just to secure it for shipping. It comes with the original case, which is is good shape and holds the horn well, and the original mouthpiece, which is not in the greatest shape, but might be nice to have for a collector.
