HERE WE HAVE:
A vintage trombone! This is a Super Collegiate model made by Holton in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. There is a number stamped into the metal near where the bell and slide piece attach, which I'm guessing is the serial number? The number is, "282493"; if that is the serial number, looks like that would date it to 1956 based on serial number charts I've seen online? Not certain though!
The piece is three different colors of metal; It's an orange-brassy color, silver tone, and gold tone.
Comes with a Frank Hlton & Co. #30 mouth piece, a cleaning rod, and a "Collegiate by Holton" hard case with a maroon, velvet interior.
CONDITION:
Being sold as is, for parts or repair! I'm not a trombone player, so it's untested. There are dents and small dings along the curved ends of each half. There are scuffs, scratches, and tarnish spots throughout. The case has tears and wear along the edges, stains, and scuffs throughout. The latches on the case have surface rust and are a little finnicky but still functional. I don't have a key to lock the case. Some holes or bare spots to the fabric interior.
