Here is an excellent 19th C cutter issued as a promotion piece for R. Hoe Saw Co. in Manhattan.  Interesting history to this company, they made printing presses first and had over 500 employees on Grand St. in the Bowery in 1855, workers had ten hour work days and when on strike.  Please see the other old cutters I will be listing.*PLEASE NOTE* that almost all of the items I list are vintage, antique, old, pre-owned and usually have some wear or age marks and are often in 'imperfect' condition due to age and/or use.  I strive to list any age marks, wear and defects and never intentionally omit defects but as a member of the human specie can sometimes miss a scratch or flea bite or nick.  Photos are part of condition, please see all of them.
