Condition is very good, with denting and wear commensurate with service and age. Still works. The bugle is clearly marked on the bell. What a GREAT PIECE of HISTORY ! !
WW1 type "trench bugle" does not have any US Military markings, such as specification number or date of manufacture. Grand Rapids Band Instrument Co. was a subsidiary of York and used the same manufacturing facility at Grand Rapids Michigan. York made many of the military trench bugles, but the Grand Rapids Band Instrument Co .trench bugles are not common.
